HHT (Headquarters, Headquarters Troop) and "A"
troop were stationed there. "A" troop was the
armored part of the Cav. Back in the day we still had
M-60s and M113 personnel carriers. Time takes its toll
and nothing stays the same... Some 20 years later, and
Camp Garry Owen is now just a footnote in history (Closed
in 2001). I have served in many units, but my heart will always be CAV! "Garry Owen, Sir!" |
